Snow Globes

A young lady came into Marc’s life unexpectedly in the form of a step-daughter in a previous relationship. She faced great challenges being sent to a new country with no friends and her father. He time was often spent alone until she met Marc after her step-mother separated from her father. The relationship was fulfilling for both the young lady and Marc, as Marc always wanted to be a father and naturally stepped into the role with no reservations. Every visit I to his home she would enter with the assurance that she was loved, safe, and would collect another special snow globe from about he world. This drawing is a tribute to that girl who is now a woman thriving in a country she had to find herself in. The globes portray various scenes from characters form Marc’s favorite Disney classics to more historical characters from religion and politics. The concept is that each person lives in a bubble and there are times when being in the bubble is safe, and breaking out of the bubble is greater.
